The Feeling of Tropical Resort Golf in Warm Minamiboso
The Ohara・Onjuku Golf Course is famous as the last 18-hole course created by master golf course designer Seiichi Inoue, a key figure in the history of golf in Japan. Located on a plateau at 70 meters above sea level, this 6862 yard, par 72 course evokes the image of a golf course at a tropical resort. The palm trees scattered throughout the course and the wide fairways allow players to enjoy a sense of openness and freedom unique to the tropics. Located in Minamiboso, which enjoys temperate conditions throughout all four seasons, this hillside course attracts players with its wide fairways and beautiful bunkers. One major feature is the mounds that separate the holes from one other, which helps to reduce the number of lost balls.
A Course Designed by Seiichi Inoue, One of Golf's Greatest Masters
This is a literal paradise spreading over the plateau of Minamiboso, and stands as the last course of the master craftsman of golf, Seiichi Inoue. The 18-hole course is famous for the 110 bunkers placed in key locations throughout the course, which was designed based on the concept of “gentle for beginners, but difficult for advanced players."
With a palm tree, symbol of the tropics, standing proudly at the front, the clubhouse welcomes you with a rich and relaxing atmosphere, while still blending in with the natural surroundings.
